Why Sabai Finance
What separates careful education from a sales meeting.
There are many ways to receive financial information in Bangkok. This page sets out what makes the Sabai Finance approach distinct — and why that distinction matters to participants.

Six reasons participants choose us
Each of these is a deliberate structural choice — not a marketing position. The way Sabai Finance is designed reflects what we believe adult financial education should look like.
No product agenda
Sabai Finance does not sell financial products, receive referral commissions, or have commercial relationships with fund providers or brokers. Programme fees are the only source of income. This means sessions follow participant questions, not a product pitch.
Groups of six, at most
Most financial seminars seat thirty or more. Sabai Finance caps every session at six. This is not about exclusivity — it is about the quality of discussion that is possible when a facilitator knows each person's situation well enough to address it specifically.
Thai context, not generic
Content is built around the instruments, regulations, and practical realities of life in Thailand — Provident Fund, LTF, RMF, Social Security, and the cross-border considerations that affect mixed-nationality households. Generic global frameworks get adapted, not imported wholesale.
Written documents you keep
Each programme produces a personal written output — a retirement roadmap, a risk-preference summary, or an estate checklist — that participants take home. These are working documents, not course certificates. They are meant to be used in subsequent conversations with lawyers, advisors, or family members.
Designed for adults, not students
Participants bring decades of life and financial experience. Sessions are structured to meet people where they are — building on what they already know rather than beginning at the textbook's first chapter. Questions are welcomed throughout, not deferred to an end-of-session Q&A.
Follow-up built in
The Investment Foundations programme includes a follow-up review call six weeks after the final session. This is when many participants have the most useful questions — after they have had time to apply what they learned and encounter their first real-world ambiguities.
Facilitators with real-world Thai financial backgrounds
Our team brings working experience in Thai capital markets, personal financial planning, and adult learning — not academic backgrounds transplanted into a classroom setting. The practical orientation means sessions address the questions that come up when someone actually tries to act on financial information.
- Thai Provident Fund and mutual fund regulatory knowledge
- Cross-border estate and inheritance experience
- Adult learning methodology applied to financial topics
In practice, this means
When a participant asks how their company's Provident Fund interacts with their planned retirement date under Thailand's Social Security rules, we have a substantive answer that accounts for both systems — not a referral to "speak with your HR department."
The outcome of this approach
Participants leave each programme with a document they actually use — not a binder of slides. The roadmap, workbook, or checklist is designed to function as a reference they return to over months, and to make conversations with other professionals more productive.
A structure that produces working documents, not completion certificates
Every programme is built around a deliverable. The sessions are a means to an end — helping each participant develop a personalised written reference they can use independently after the programme finishes. This changes how facilitators approach each session: the goal is not coverage of material, but understanding sufficient to produce something useful.
- Retirement Roadmap: personal two-page household plan
- Investment Foundations: workbook and starter watchlist
- Estate Workshop: personal checklist and printed booklet
Responsive support before, during, and after each programme
From the first enquiry through to the follow-up call, participants have direct access to the team. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day. Sessions include time for individual questions alongside group discussion, and the Investment Foundations programme extends to a one-to-one review call six weeks after the final session.
- Pre-programme call to discuss fit and scheduling
- Individual attention within every session
- Post-programme follow-up included in Investments course

What sets us apart
Distinctive features of the Sabai Finance model
Education without a commercial outcome
Because Sabai Finance earns from programme fees alone, our interest is aligned with participants' learning — not with their subsequent product purchases. This is uncommon in financial education.
Content built for Bangkok's international community
The Estate Workshop is the only programme of its kind in Bangkok that explicitly addresses the legal and financial complexities of mixed-nationality households — including succession law, foreign asset reporting, and insurance designations across borders.
The follow-up call as a programme component
The six-week follow-up call in the Investment Foundations programme is not an upsell — it is part of the original fee. It exists because six weeks of application typically surfaces the most meaningful questions, and those questions deserve a proper answer.
Curriculum reviewed against current Thai regulations each cycle
LTF and RMF rules, Social Security thresholds, and estate law change periodically. Every programme cycle begins with a curriculum review to ensure examples and figures remain accurate for participants in that cohort.
